This blog is a dream of mine

Welcome to my running and reading blog where I discuss my life's loves and passions. We will take some pretty wild turns here and there and I'm so happy you're here to join me.

At the age of sixty-two, I run, I write, I read.  I love my husband, grandkids, and I love and admire my kids.  This journey through life is, at times, chaotic and crazy, coupled with mishaps, and mistakes, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

It is essential you wear the correct shoes for running as proper support provides better overall physical health (and isn't that really the goal?).

Stretching before and after a run will reduce the risk of injury and post-run soreness while making the experience more enjoyable.

Dress for the weather

You need light weight quick-dry clothing.  The less you feel you have on, the faster and farther you will run using less energy.
