When I decided to venture into the world wide web and start a blog, I had no idea what to do. I started by getting a host and a web address, but that was far as it went.

Designing a website is not something I had any knowledge or training to do. So, what does anyone do when they are stuck? We google. Living in Stanley, WI., when I realized there was a web designer in Thorp, 6 or 7 miles down the road I was overjoyed.

I contacted Edwin Marie Web Design and spoke to a guy named Derek Entrekin. We set up a meet and greet and went from there.

Derek is the guy to go to if you want your project done professionally; he is always willing to listen and lend a helping hand. His vast knowledge of web designing, combined with his let's get this done correctly the first time, puts him in a class by himself.

I am 62 years old; Derek has the patience of a saint with me.

I sometimes interrupt while he is speaking (a bad habit I struggle to control). Derek ignores me, which is for the best. He talks to me and gets me to understand, and always tells me to reach out to him if I have questions. Me, questions, of course I do; without Dereks help I wouldn't have a website.

I'm sure he sometimes thinks I am an old lady, but he is too nice to say so. This world is a better place with him in it. I would not have accomplished what I have achieved without him. From me, Derek gets a glowing recommendation.

The Woods Are Deep

I am not out of the woods yet with my blog. Still questioning certain things, I shoot Derek an e-mail. He always answers back, even though his business is crazy busy. He makes time for me; it tells me a lot about his personality, makeup, and character structure.
