Get A Job

Who are these people who try to infiltrate their way into our tablets, laptops and cellphones? What is their purpose? They want our personal information; they are clever and smart so do not underestimate them. They send fake emails, texts, and phone calls.

Thank you Not Me

I received an email saying thank you for spending $899 dollars on Ebay. I’ve never been on Ebay in my life, so I knew without a doubt it was fake. If anyone receives such an email do not open it and if there is a link, God forbid do not open it. Simply delete it. It’s as simple as that.

Facebook

I have friends who are on Facebook. They get their accounts hacked into and someone is sending friend requests out. I am not sure what the purpose of it is. I do not believe there is much personal info on Facebook.  I haven’t been on for three to four years now and I do not miss it a bit. One less chance anyone has to hack into my life. I am busy. I do not need to know what anyone had for breakfast or what they are doing for the day. Quite frankly I could care less. My husband Gary is on Facebook. I got him on it but he spends much more time on the marketplace than he does on Facebook. Always selling or buying something we most likely do not need.

I’d like to track down just one of the people who do this for a living and tell them to get a real job. Stop trying to take money from people. Guard your social security number, never give it over the phone to anyone. Once your identity is stolen, I’ve heard it is a tedious and long journey trying to get it back. I, for one, do not want to find out.

Where Do They Come From?

Where do these people live who do this? Many of them do not live in the United States. They live overseas. Their job is to steal your information. That is what they do for a living. It’s terrible and they show no mercy.

I have had my credit compromised enough times to validly despise these people with a passion. Calling the fraud department, canceling my credit card. Waiting for a new one to arrive. I’ve gone through it more than once. It's problematic and takes time away from my day.

Fake, Fake, Fake

Hackers put up fake websites, be careful when clicking on a website. Make sure it is the correct one and not a fraud. They change one minute detail and many people do not notice. They revert to spam emails which can trigger malware download when clicked on. If this happens, they can see everything you type and can spy on you. They will record your keystrokes and steal your passwords. Also be careful if you have a camera on your laptop or any device they can use this to spy also.

They are down and dirty and will do anything to gain your personal information.

Maybe they should try gaining legitimate employment and leave the rest of us alone.
