Everyone Is Created Equal

I am of a firm belief people are equal to one another. Because someone has more money than you do does not make them a better person. In fact, many times it makes them a bigger jackass. A phony, a fraud, a small person inside and out. Anyone who treats anyone else with disdain because they are poorer than you do not deserve your time or energy.

It is the way you treat people that matters most. Treating them with kindness, dignity and the respect they deserve. People notice and observe how you treat others. Looking down on someone is never a good idea. Some day you may be in this person's shoes. Treat people the way you want to be treated.

Up the Elevator

What does it mean if you say you have an elevated status? All it means to me is you are headed to the elevator. Do not think you are better than anyone else because you are not. This kind of thinking leads to buffoonish behavior, unlikability, and snotty attitudes. Who made you God, and the rest of us peons? Who told you, you were better than me? Do you have superpowers? Can you fly? Maybe then I would believe you are better than me. That wouldn’t prove it either, it would only prove you can do things I cannot. That doesn’t make you a better human. 

Sunrise, Sunset

Does the sun rise and set on you? Are you the only one who goes through life happily? Do you look down your nose at others? Because you may have a bigger house, more money, nicer clothes. Does this make you a more likable person? God would say no. He doesn’t teach this, and he wouldn’t think this. Turn the other cheek. Do not spit in someone’s face. Instead give back to the world. Try to make this earth a better place to live. Treat everyone with the kindness and respect they deserve. Do not sully anyone’s name. Do not talk behind their back. 

Instead reach out your hand. Give some love back to those around you. Be someone anyone would look at and admire. Be that adult a child can look up to. 

Don’t rain on another person's parade. Don’t make their day cloudy. Actions speak louder than words. Display this. Show people how you feel. Bring sunshine into someone’s day. 

Be Nice

Say something nice. Compliments are always appreciated. Hours after you leave whomever you gave a compliment to will still be smiling. You made their day, their week, and maybe even their year. If they take it to heart, you may be remembered years down the road. Isn’t this a better way to be remembered than being thought of as a complete and utter jackass?

No one, and I mean no one is any better than anyone else. I don’t care what you do in life. The truth stops here. The president of the United States is no better man than the guy who mows lawns for a living. He puts his pants on one leg at a time too. Let us be just and fair, real and honest. 

Celebrities' blah

Certain celebrities think they are better than we the people. I disagree vehemently. They say, “Do you know who I am”? I don’t care who you are. You are just a person in this world trying to get through this life the best way you know how. So am I. You are no better nor worse. Because you are rich doesn’t make you a nicer person inside. If you are rotten on the inside, you are also rotten on the outside. There is no way around it. Don’t sprinkle fairy dust on my hind-end (that word is for Kay and Gary) and call it gold.

Once again realize the things you say at times may hurt people. Think twice before you open your mouth.
