Only If you Believe.

Do you believe in good luck? Do you believe one person can be luckier than another? What about a good luck coin? If you place it in your pocket and carry it everywhere with you, will it bring you good luck. Only if you believe. I recently gave my grandkids a Chinese coin, it is supposed to bring good luck. Only if you believe. Maybe we should all be more like kids-they believe.

Kids Believe

Are kids the only ones who will believe? No, my son is always thinking he is going to win the lottery. But where is his good luck? So far, it’s evading him. So, he keeps spending money and trying to get lucky. I guess one cannot get lucky if a ticket isn’t purchased.

What is one person's luck is another person's downfall. You get lucky that means someone else doesn't. Perhaps we should all stand in the good luck line and sign up for some. If only it were that easy.

Some people seem to have all the luck they enter drawings and win, scratch offs you name it, they win at it. These types of people should go to Vegas. Gamble a little bit, play the slots.

Every one of us needs a little bit of luck to get through life. As a person ages, just getting out of bed in the morning is lucky. Being able to walk, talk, and move our limbs is a blessing. No aches or pains are considered luck also.

Healthy Body and Soul

What do you consider good luck? At my age a healthy body is one of my top five things. Also, still being able to run after 30 plus years of running. Family is always good luck so let’s add that in. Friends are another good luck charm. The world would be a lonely place without them.

The meaning of saying good luck is hoping for someone else to succeed. Always wish others good luck, it shows character and dignity. Wishing bad luck on someone shows an evil intent. Equivalent to sticking pins in a voodoo doll. Let’s all get on the same page and be nice.

We All Aren't Nice

Good luck comes to those who deserve it. This is a statement but not always a true statement. Serial killers get away with murdering two to three people or more before their luck runs out. Some get lucky enough to never get caught. The Green River Killer comes to mind.

Good luck can come in spurts or never come at all. Some people say they are never lucky. Then again, maybe they just do not know where to look for their luck. Lucky to be alive, lucky to be healthy, lucky to find the one person you cannot live without. There are all kinds of good luck. Dig deep enough you will find it within yourself.

Jealousy Is Never a Good Thing

Do not let the green-eyed monster destroy your feelings for other people's luck. Be happy for them, not jealous. Your time will come and if it doesn’t, well that is the lucky hand you were dealt. Almost all of us have experienced good luck in our lifetime. Take your blinders off and look around you. My husband Gary says good luck is sitting at home out on the patio on a beautiful summer day. Dogs lounging as always, not far away. Life cannot get any luckier than that. It’s all in what you think and how you feel. Happiness is good luck. Invest in it, you may surprise yourself. Being a sad sack gets you nowhere. Life is yours for the taking, grab on and give it all you’ve got.

Good luck, it’s what you make of it. Grab yours before it gets away.
