Crazy Times Calls for Crazy Behavior

In this World we live in at times it seems as if everyone has gone a little bit off kilter. A tad bit off the rails. I’m thinking we are not in a good place and am wondering if we ever will be again. If you’d ask me right now, I’d say no. We are all too far gone. We cannot repair what has happened to each and every one of us. Are we all at fault? Maybe in one way or another we are.

Hate Is Here to Stay

There has never been such hatred in this world of ours as there is now. Why is this? Have we deteriorated so much as a society we cannot find our way back to normalcy? Do we hate and despise one another so much? It’s easy to hate, it’s much harder to love. Hatred flows out of people's mouth smoothly as silk. With a smile and a nod one person can destroy another with the words that come out of their mouths. Acid thrown in the face of an unknown. Sarcasm spit in the face of an innocent.

How Did We Get Here

How did we as a society get to this point? A good question often left unanswered. One side versus the other. White versus brown. Not one of us has an answer we can unequivocally say will fix this terrible tragedy. Like I said earlier, it’s easier to hate than not to hate. It’s like a ball of yarn rolling and growing and getting bigger and bigger with nothing to stop it. Do people want to stop it? Maybe not. It takes one man to hate, that hate feeds off other people and all of a sudden millions of people hate like he hates. They follow, they lap up that hatred like they haven’t eaten in months. You see, the hatred that’s all of a sudden at the surface has always been there bubbling deep down inside. It just needed a catalyst, something to bring it to the forefront. It bubbles out spewing hatred everywhere. There is no end to it. It keeps festering, like a pimple that has to be popped. This is the state of the place we all call home. The United States. Hatred thrives and lives and is running free in the streets. You don’t think the same as I do. I hate you then. You cannot have a different opinion. You must go with the flow. Become one of us. Otherwise, your chance of survival is nil. Ostracized and outcast, this becomes your life.

Do Not Join In

Joining in is not an option. You don’t hate like they hate. It isn’t in your heart. You are not like them. The crowd, the fanatics whose hatred outlives every aspect of their lives. Anyone that doesn’t believe as they believe are morons. Low class, idiotic, and simpletons. There is no place for them in today's society. They are vermin, deplorables if you will.

Hate has no place in the heart. If it’s in yours take it out and replace it with like, love, anything but hate. Hatred makes your face sour; it ages you and is not a good look. It causes wrinkles and frown lines. Bullies hate. Lover's love.

We all need to reteach one another the wisdom of clear thinking. Hatred has no place in our world. But here it is. Perhaps we should all confront it, destroy it, send it into oblivion. Hostility, animosity, abhor, loath, detest, and malice. None of these are good for the heart.

At times I’m very glad we live in a small city. All towns, cities, or villages have their own brand of hatred. It is the way it is. Let’s try and alleviate it. Send it back where it came from. Smash it into a dark universe where it can fester on its own.

Hatred makes us anxious and attacks our nervous system. It brings about obsessive thinking and paranoia. Who needs it? Stop hating and start loving. It’s a big world out there. Make your peace, live it, love it and accept it.

Own what you think and what you say. Break the cycle of hatred. Be your own person. Not a sheep in wolf's clothing.
