Are you ever disappointed in people who you have loved? 

I used to love Bill Cosby. America's dad. Loving family man. I was very disappointed when I learned what he had been doing to women for years. He was found guilty and sent to prison, then got out. It doesn’t mean he’s innocent. It means he’s rich. 

So, Your Rich

Another rich guy who thought he could get away with anything is Harvey Weinstein. I wonder how life’s treating him now in prison. He also got away with despicable behavior for years. Why? Because he was a powerful man in Hollywood. Many women were lured in by him and spoke up about it. When it was happening, the women were afraid to say anything because they were trying to make a name for themselves in Hollywood. His nefarious behavior continued for years until Roan Farrow came along and outed him in a book. What an intense time for Farrow. Going up against the most elite man in Hollywood. Why do men think they can get away with rotten behavior just because they have money? It pays to be rich, I guess. Although these men have gotten what’s coming to them. Weinstein is still in prison. I hope he stays there. It’s where he belongs.

The Root of all Evil

We all wish we had money. Do we not? The world of the rich is a different universe than the one we all live day to day. Have you seen some of the places they live? The mansions they have people clean for them, because they are too busy. Nannies who care for their kids. Because they don’t have time for them. Many of the ultra-rich have multiple houses, when the normal couple struggle to purchase a first-time home. It doesn’t seem right, does it? Does having money empower people to be dishonest? To think they can get away with just about anything. Having money can get them out of the worst trouble. Drunk driving, not if you have enough money. Some guy rapes a woman. Not if he has enough money. Hollywood can be a dark place. Especially if you are a young woman trying to make it on the big screen. Many beautiful girls take their chances. Sadly, most of them don’t make it. Hollywood chews them up and spits them out.

Stay Single

Then you have those actors like Tom Cruise. Who it seems to me has been around forever. He has gone through three wives. Is it him or is it the wives? To me he seems as if he’d be incredibly controlling. Let’s ask Katie Holmes, shall we? I think she has been told she cannot talk about her marriage. Cruise, who is into Scientology, a religious cult. He is high up on the ladder. One of the elites. It’s been said that’s why Holmes wanted to get away from him. To protect her child from Scientology. I believe Cruise will wind up by himself. As well as female actress Demi Moore. Men marry women three decades younger than they are. Demi followed suit with Aston Kutcher. Who knew that wouldn’t last. My hand is raised. She was too old. He was too young. I believe he is where he wants to be now, with Mika Kunis. They make a good couple. They have kids. Demi is alone. Maybe she and Tom Cruise should get together. They cancel each other out age wise. That is why they wouldn’t want one another. It’s a shame. 

Maybe money is the root of all evil. Perhaps it gives people big heads. Makes them feel powerful, like they can get away with anything. Sadly, often they do.

Hollywood is a place that lures people in. Chews them up and spits them out again.
