Is this crazy upside down world of ours ever going to straighten itself out? If you ask me right at this exact moment, I’d say no. Turning on the news isn’t an option anymore because most of it isn’t worth watching. Global warming is a thing. I don’t care if nobody believes in it or not. It’s coming and it isn’t going to be pleasant. Hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, you name it we have it.

Why Tell me Why

Shootings are on the rise. The United States has more shootings than any other country. Why is that? Do all the batshit crazy people live in the United States? Are we surrounded by them; we just don’t realize it? I see it on Twitter, I refuse to call it X. It’s always been Twitter. People talking about issues they know next to nothing about. They see a post and go crazy from there. Many have drunk the kool aid and are a lost cause. They echo what they hear. It doesn’t matter if it makes sense or not. It makes perfect sense to them. So, do go on with their bad selves. It is their right to think what they want to think.

Fuzzy Brain

Right now, my brain is tired. Getting little sleep day after day catches up with you. I’m sitting here writing this and practically falling asleep. My head keeps nodding, I’ll doze off and wake up with my fingers still on the appropriate spot on the keyboard. Typing skills never vanish.

Me Crazy?

Who are the crazy ones in this topsy turvy world we live in? Should we label people? Is it the person who's standing on the street corner with next to nothing on in 30-degree weather? Or is it the guy who is holding up a sign as people drive by saying, the world is going to hell, here is the hand basket. He is smiling and has no teeth, and his tongue hangs out the side of his mouth. A dirty ball cap on his head completes the picture. He has his position and he’s sticking with it. No matter what anyone tells him. He believes what he believes.

There are people beating one another up out on the streets. When this is taking place, you can be sure someone is nearby doing a video. The entire thing will be posted on Twitter, Facebook, or Tik Tok. 

The scariest thing to me is the mass shootings. Innocence is taken and we cannot get it back. Mothers, and children dying in the streets. You cannot attend a baseball game without worrying. Any public event could have a shooter. Are we all supposed to stay home, hide, never venture out into the world? Too scared to leave your house, too scared to stay by yourself. Neighbors shooting neighbors.

Don't Piss Anyone Off

Road rage is a thing also. My husband Gary and I have run across it. I look over to the vehicle next to us and the guy is making a slice across his throat. Ok, Ive had enough. What the heck is wrong with people? The other day someone thought Gary slighted them somehow on the road and he put down his window and gave us his middle finger. You really don’t want to do anything to piss these crazies off because I have no doubt they will come for you. Most likely they will have a weapon. The end result will not be good. Tempers flare in seconds, people are mad. I’m not sure if they wake up mad or if it's the result of a bad day. Maybe they were born bad.

Nobody is happy anymore. They are quick to anger and quick to retaliate. An eye for an eye.

What Is Up with the Churches

I am not sure what is going on in the churches either. Not being a real religious person, I do not attend church. When I get on Twitter there is always a post about someone in the church molesting a child. It is like they are coming out of the woodwork. Where the hell are they all coming from? Has this always been going on? We just aren’t aware of it. It’s as old as the ages. There are people ranting about men dressing as women and reading stories to children. I’m thinking they should worry less about them and more about the ones who are spouting God’s word, and then taking advantage of the children under their care. An innocent life is forever changed when this occurs. Never to be recovered, lost forever. Darkness comes for certain kids. Parents be aware and be on guard. Religion isn’t always what it claims to be. Men do this under God’s roof. Sinners and pedophiles, all of them. Toss them in jail and throw away the key. It will save another child's life.

So many issues and so much havoc surrounds us. We can pick and choose what we think is important. Unity is something that needs to make a comeback, but I do not see that happening. We are a divided country. One side hates the other. How do we all come out of this unscathed? I’m waiting to see. Will there be another Civil war? Only time will tell. Violence is on the horizon. We all see it coming. None of us know if it can be stopped. People are angry. Voices are raised. If you don't believe what I believe you are in the wrong. No compromise, no solution. Only hateful rhetoric tossed back and forth from one group to another.

We have all forgotten how to simply live. Comradery has fallen by the wayside. Honesty and integrity are no longer important. How have we all gotten so far off balance?

Let’s return to the good old days when all we had to worry about was getting up in the morning and enjoying the day.
